Inmigration Lawyer
Mrs. Arias Tovar graduated from Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. She later obtained her Master’s in law from Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is licensed to practice immigration law in all 50 States and is an active member of the Louisiana and New York States Bar Associations, of the American Bar Association, of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and of it’s Unlawful Practice of Law Committee.
Mrs. Arias Tovar has worked for international law firms such as Baker & Mc. Kenzie in Venezuela, Chaffe McCall in New Orleans, and Fox Horan & Camerini in New York. She has more than 35 years of experience advising international clients. During the last 30 years, she has concentrated on immigration law, guiding U.S. corporations and foreign individuals through their relocation process.
She has written articles on immigration procedures and has lectured on immigration matters. She has also served as legal counsel for non-for-profit organizations and continually offers support to the community through television programs, social media and workshops at major Universities.
José Gregorio Tovar del Corral earned his Juris Doctor (Law degree) from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, with a Máster degree of Laws (LLM), with a concentration in International Trade and Finance from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
Mr. Tovar is a Counsel at Arias Tovar & Associates, with more than 35 years of accumulated experience in the field of business and law, assisting and guiding clients to successfully open thousands of enterprises and corporations in the United States.
He is also an entrepreneur, currently a founding Director and VP of the KeyKlick Corporation, an Interactive Marketplace company with a platform specialized in real-time sales for large corporations and events.
He serves as the Chairman of the Board and Executive Vice President of Demos of the Americas, Inc.” and and co founder of the NIDD, National Institute for Democracy and Development, not-for-profit organizations and think-tanks dedicated to promoting democracy in the Americas. Also, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Benjamin Franklin School of Government.

Mr. Tovar was member of Board of Directors of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce of the United States, during the 7 consecutive years and its President from December 2003 to December 2005.
As business consultant, he has been dedicating his practice to advise small and medium-size companies and entrepreneurs.He worked for the International law firm of Cameron & Hornbostel; the Law Offices of Carolyn W. Davenport, and the Law Offices of Philip H. Teplen, unyielding firms in immigration and business law, International trade, and corporate law, in New York City.
Mr. Tovar worked in the international insurance arena, as well as the banking industry. He was senior VP and manager of personal banking with Banco Consolidado, New York Branch, and Consolidado International Bank in New York City.
He is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and working knowledge in Portuguese.
